Voices from the Field: Strengthening Social Justice Advocacy in the United States

The US Human Rights Fund is pleased to released its report, Voices from the Field: Strengthening Social Justice Advocacy in the United States. Conducted over six months in 2006, the report assesses the strengths, challenges and capacity needs of social justice and human rights organizations in the United States. During these months, a team of three consultants conducted interviews with the leaders of 38 nonprofit organizations, funders and other experts representing a broad cross-section of the social justice field.

The US Human Rights Fund is pleased to share its Impact Statement on the Growing Movement for Human Rights in the United States and a description of its own grantmaking strategy. These resources explain how human rights has had an impact on US social justice work so far and its potential to help strengthen efforts to build a more just and equitable society in the United States and abroad.
