Project
The program grant is designated to support the Center for Law & Global Justice’s “End Juvenile Life Without Parole Project."
Through this grant, the Center will continue to do international human rights advocacy at the U.N. Human Rights Council and other international fora on the practice of JLWOP sentencing. It will also work with national litigators and juvenile defenders to raise human rights arguments at trial and on appeal during related cases.
Additionally, the Center will house human rights briefing materials on a central website for juvenile defenders and litigators, and will carry out trainings and briefings at law conferences and symposia.
