Steering Committee

The U.S. Human Rights Fund Steering Committee consists of representatives from ten contributing foundations. The Steering Committee works closely with staff to determine strategic direction, priorities, grantmaking, and the programmatic activities of the Fund. The Committee also helps secure additional donors.

Several donors have also joined the Fund’s special sub-fund initiatives that provide support to specific human rights advocacy campaigns. The U.S. Human Rights Fund maintains a sub-fund to eliminate Juvenile Life Without Parole Policies and successfully launched the Sub-Fund for Domestic Human Rights Accountability in 2009.
